Welcome to the Pratt Music Foundation.
Our mission is the support of classical music in our community, primarily through scholarships for deserving youth.

The Pratt Music Scholars for 2019-20.
The Pratt Music Foundation Board of Directors in June selected 35 Pratt Music Foundation Scholars (and as always, there were more qualified applicants than scholarships available):

The Pratt Music Foundation Scholarship Class of 2019-2020 includes 19 students from Bloomington, 14 from Normal, and one each from Washington and Gridley. Eighteen students study piano, eight study violin, two study viola, eight pursue the cello, and one studies bass. One scholar is taking both violin and viola. Eleven students attend District 87 schools, fifteen attend Unit 5 schools, four are home-schooled, three attend private schools (Epiphany, St. Mary's, and Cornerstone) one attends the Illinois Math and Science Academy, and one attends CUSD 51 (Washington) and one attends Unit 11 (El Paso-Gridley).    The thirty-five Pratt Music Foundation Scholars for 2019-2020 represent an investment (this year) of over $47,750 in the next generation of music in our community.
